One Bellevue Center Building |
1993 EUN National Award for Building Automation
One Bellevue Center is a high rise (22 floor) multi-tenant building with a floor by floor VAV system. Built in 1982, it incorporates DX cooling with parallel fan powered boxes with electric reheat serving perimeter zones. In 1991 Hartman designed a Terminal Regulated Air Volume (TRAV) retrofit that included conversion to 24 hour building operation. As a result of the retrofit, One Bellevue Center achieved a 20 percent reduction in total energy use along with noticeable comfort improvement. Back to Noteworthy Projects |
