The Kaiser Permanente Building is an existing medium rise (17 floor) building originally constructed with a constant volume dual duct HVAC system. In 1990 Hartman designed a dual duct Terminal Regulated Air Volume (TRAV) retrofit. The retrofit resulted in improved comfort and a 45 percent energy reduction.
