Implementation

Implementing the Hartman Low Power Pumping technology product in new or retrofit applications is a relatively straightforward step. One or more variable speed pumps are configured to feed into a variable flow distribution network in which the loads are served by two-way equal percentage valves sized with flow coefficients three to ten times larger than design. Valve actuators must be position positive or provide position feedback, and a networking capable DDC system must connect all loads and the pump together as a single system. With this configuration, you are ready to implement Low Power Pumping control and watch the energy bills go down!
